PA Fast Track Admission Pathway
The PA Fast Track Application is open to full-time undergraduate UC students with no more than 30 transfer credit hours from other institutions.
Applications are submitted through the UC eConnections portal.
- Have no more than 30 transfer credit hours from other institutions. The PA Program will obtain official transcripts directly from the UC Undergraduate Admissions Office.
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.75 and a science GPA of 3.50 are required at the time of application.
- The minimum grades must be earned for the prerequisite courses taken at the time of application.
- Submit the eConnections application between May 1 and September 1.
- Fast Track students can apply as early as their freshman year.
- No application fee is required for the Fast Track Pathway.
- Two references must be submitted by September 1st.
- One letter must be from a UC academic instructor.
- The second letter is strongly encouraged to be from a healthcare provider (MD, DO, or PA).
- Submit one official test score by September 15th, either from the ACT, SAT, or GRE.
- While test scores contribute to the overall strength of an application, there is no minimum score requirement.
- Submit official TOEFL scores (if applicable) by September 15th for applicants whose primary language is not English. Minimum accepted TOEFL scores:
- Paper-Based Test (PBT): 550 or higher
- Internet-Based Test (IBT): 80 or higher
- If the minimum score is met and the applicant demonstrates a deficiency in written or verbal communication, the Admissions Committee reserves the right to no longer consider the applicant for a seat in the program.
- Enter all applicable information in the non-academic application section.
- Specify the desired year of matriculation.
- If the applicant is unable to complete matriculation requirements by the specified year, the seat will be forfeited, and the student will need to reapply in a future application cycle.
Fast Track applicants who meet academic requirements are guaranteed an interview. Conditional seat offers may be extended, contingent on the following being completed prior to the program start date for which the seat offer was made:
- Maintenance of a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.75 and a cumulative undergraduate science GPA of 3.50.
- An ‘A’ grade is required in the prerequisite Anatomy and Physiology courses and labs. All other prerequisite courses and labs require a grade of ‘B’ or higher.
- Completion of at least 91 semester hours of undergraduate coursework.
