Physician Assistant Program Candidate Interviews
Invited candidates will participate in a virtual three-part interview process – Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), a Group Interview, and a Health Science Reasoning Test.
Interview Invitation Process
Invitations to interview will be sent to applicants with the highest academic qualifications. A participation form must be signed and returned before applicants receive the virtual interview link.
Day of the Interview
- Interviews will be conducted on Eastern Daylight Time.
- Log in 5 minutes prior to the interview.
- Interview Layout:
- Group Interview – During the group session, interviewees will be given a problem scenario in which they must use teamwork to determine a course of action.
- Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) – Applicants will interview one-on-one with every panel member.
- Health Science Reasoning Test – Interviewees will be administered a Health Science Reasoning test at no additional cost to the applicant.
- Interview Attire: Business-appropriate attire is expected for both panel and group interviews.
Admission Decisions
The UC PA Program utilizes a rolling admissions process to select matriculants for the next scheduled program start date.
There are three (3) possible admission decisions:
- Accept – Acceptance is conditional until all admissions and post-acceptance requirements have been satisfied.
- Waitlist – Waitlisted applicants will be considered for acceptance after every interview day. Applicants will remain on the waitlist until the next program start date and can be offered a seat up to the first day of classes.
- Denied – We encourage applicants to strengthen their application and reapply the following year.
