Invited candidates will participate in a virtual two-part interview process – a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) with UC PA Program faculty and a Group Interview with the other
interviewees. Invited applicants will cycle through both the day of the interview.

  • Applicants who qualify for an interview will receive an email informing them that they have qualified. Invited applicants need to confirm if they wish to accept theinvitation by the noted deadline.
  • Those who confirm will receive a separate email from the Health Science Team which includes a link to sign a confidentiality form. Once the confidentiality form is signed, applicants will receive two Zoom links; one for the interview and one for an optional Q&A session with current students and/or alumni following the conclusion of the interview.

  • All interviews will be conducted on Eastern Daylight Time.
  • Log in 5 minutes prior to the Zoom interview.
  • All students will be admitted to the Zoom meeting at the same time.
  • Interview Layout:
    • Admissions Presentation
    • Group Interview – Interviewees will be moved into a Zoom room to participate in a group interview. During the group session, interviewees will be given a problem-scenario in which they must utilize teamwork to determine a course of action.
    • Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) – Interviewees will be moved into a Zoom room. Interviewers will take turns entering the Zoom rooms to ask questions.
    • There are scheduled breaks throughout the interview.
    • Q&A Session- At the conclusion of the interview, interviewees can attend an optional Q&A with UC PA students and/or alumni. Interviewees will receive a separate Zoom link for the Q&A session.
  • Interview Attire: Interview business appropriate attire is expected for both panel and group interviews

  • Applicants will be notified by email of the selection results, typically within 1-2 weeks after the interview. The UC PA Program utilizes a rolling admissions process to select matriculants for the next scheduled program start date. Admission decisions will be made on a rolling basis once applicants have  participated in the online interview process. Applicants will be notified in writing if their application status results will be delayed past the two weeks after the interview.
  • Post-Interview Decisions – There are three (3) possible decisions.
    • Accept – Acceptance is conditional until all admission and post-acceptance requirements have been satisfied.
    • Waitlist – Those placed on the waitlist will be considered for acceptance after every interview day. Applicants will remain on the waitlist until the next program start date and can be offered a seat up to the first day of classes.
    • Deny – We encourage denied applicants to strengthen their application and reapply the following year.
