Academic Advising

Our academic advisors will assist you in developing a personalized educational plan that is compatible with your learning and life goals. Your advisor will work with you throughout your educational career while you are at UC.

Your advisor will guide you through your academic choices, keeping in mind your needs and goals. They will answer your questions, advise you in choosing major courses, electives, and planning semester schedules. They will also keep track to make sure you are on track for graduation, and help you locate additional resources should you need them (career services, financial aid, other support services).

While you are ultimately responsible for your educational journey and the choices that you make, your academic advisor can help make sure you are on track to succeed.
