Open Educational Resource Courses

Making educational opportunities accessible

Open Educational Resources (OER) is a grant-based program that can make education more accessible and save students money by encouraging the use of low or no cost textbook alternatives.

OER utilizes materials for teaching and learning that are freely accessible and reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license. These materials can include text, media and digital assets.

UC offers a variety of OER courses to help support your educational goals.

FAQs about the OER Program
