Dr. Sherri Young, Executive Director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is an authority on what it takes to keep our community safe. In this video, she discusses why it’s important to get vaccinated and answers some frequently asked questions about the vaccine.

The University is partnering with the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) for COVID-19 related telemedicine, urgent care, emergency care, hospitalization, and other services. CAMC Emergency services at Memorial Hospital are less than one mile from campus at 3200 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304. A MedExpress Urgent Care facility is located three (3) miles from campus at 5430 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304, telephone 304-925-3627.
