Welcome! One visit to any of the University of Charleston campuses will convince you that you're making a great choice!
Visitors to the main campus in Charleston, West Virginia are invited to stroll along the river bank and admire the beautiful state capitol building and Governor's Mansion sitting directly across the Kanawha River. Depending on when you visit, you might see the famed UC crew
team practicing, hear traditional music from one of the many festivals on the capitol grounds, or even be entertained by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra which plays on UC's expansive back lawn every spring.
Feel free to dine in the cafeteria or hang out in the student union or book store to get a sense of student life.
Charleston is very easy to navigate, and is friendly to bicyclists and walkers. Three interstate highways meet in Charleston, and Yeager Airport is a close and convenient 15 minute ride from campus. A Greyhound bus terminal and Amtrak station are even closer.
