UC uses the Handshake career services management system to maintain internship and job postings for students. There are over 500,000 companies that utilize Handshake, which means there are jobs in every industry all over the world that are available to explore. To access Handshake, simply go to ucwv.joinhandshake.com and use your UC email and password to log in and start using Handshake for free. If you are interested in working on campus, please contact the CCD for a list of current openings.
On or off-campus internships might qualify for the federal work-study program. To check on your eligibility, contact the financial aid office.
If you plan to use your internship for academic credit, you must register the experience on Handshake before registering for class. Please see the Handshake Internship Steps for step-by-step instructions.
