Dr. Russell A. LaAsmar – DEL, MBA

Prior to joining UC’s Downtown Innovation Hub as its Program Director, Dr. LaAsmar was the founding member of Platinum Strategy Group, where he spent decades building a practice with national reach dedicated to practice and professional development by leveraging his experiences as a strategic advisor.  His passion is leveraging technology to solve complex business issues at the intersection of technology and the human resource.

Dr. LaAsmar’s commitment to understanding the dynamics of leadership lead him to the University of Charleston, where he is a Doctoral candidate in the field of Executive Leadership and was honored with a George E. Walker Fellowship.  Prior to that, he earned his MBA from Salem International University and a Bachelor of Science from Mount Saint Mary’s College.
