If you’re a high achiever with a high school GPA of 4.0, you are invited to join a  community of UC students from all majors with high academic ability and accomplishments.

Welcome to the UC Honors College, where you will have opportunities for enhanced classroom learning experiences and more. You can participate in group travel and competition opportunities, and be part of an exceptional community of focused, dedicated and curious students.

As a member of the UC Honors College, you can:

  • participate in the first-year Honors College Seminar
  • choose from a wide range of classes with honors opportunities
  • work with UC faculty one-on-one on special projects
  • join in Honors College-specific activities
  • develop an honors portfolio
  • be recognized at UC Commencement

 

Honors College members live in the same residence hall in the Honors Living Learning Community.

If you are applying to a UC accredited program, through the Honors College you will be eligible for direct admission to our professional programs, including radiology, nursing, education, physician assistant, School of Pharmacy.

And when you graduate, you will have many resume enhancing experiences, as well as a portfolio of projects to show potential employers.

To qualify for the Honors College, you must have a high school GPA of 4.0, and a successful interview with a member of the Honors College faculty.
