UC Named Military Friendly and Military Friendly Spouse School

The University of Charleston has been named a 2025-2026 Silver Level Military Friendly Designated School by Victory Media for its “efforts in creating sustainable and meaningful education paths for the Military Community.” This is the seventeenth time UC has earned this honor.

UC was also named a 2025 Military Friendly Spouse School.

“At UC, we are committed to meeting the unique needs of veterans, military service members and their families, helping them reach their educational goals,” stated UC President Marty Roth. “We are proud to be recognized for the hard work that our faculty and staff do to support our military students.”

UC has nearly 1,000 members of our nation’s armed forces and veterans completing their degrees from 42 states and several countries worldwide. Many students are participating in classes even while being deployed.

Victory Media releases an annual list that honors the top colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
