UC Pharmacy Students Recognized

From being named in a “Top Ten” category to being selected for prestigious programs, the UC School of Pharmacy has had a number of its students gain recognition and earn opportunities to increase knowledge and skills.

Recently, Ashley Lam was selected as one of the Top 10 recipients of the United States Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award. Only 90 pharmacy students in the US are recognized for the award each year.

CVS, Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, and the Mayo Clinic are all welcoming UC School of Pharmacy students into unique internship programs this year.

Four out of the 40 students nationwide that will participate in the 2022 National Community Pharmacists Association Pharmacy Ownership & Leadership Academy are UC School of Pharmacy students.

Students have also been on the front lines of vaccination and Covid-19 education efforts and support for programs related to opioid addiction.
