Meal Plans
We know a thing or two about hungry students.
UC students have three options for eating on campus:
- The Riverfront Dining Hall is located on the first floor of the Geary Student Union Building. It offers a wide variety of food “stations” featuring Italian, live cooking station, grilled/smoked meats, allergen-free options, plant forward options, fresh salads, a bake shop, and global cuisine.
- The Coffee Tavern (or CT), also on the first floor of the Student Union, has Starbucks coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and more.
- The Golden Eagle Commons is on the second floor of GSU and features a UC to Go ordering and the Golden Eagle Market, a convenience grab and go store.
Students can also enjoy different dining options during UC special events, such as barbecue at the Homecoming Pep Rally, ice cream socials, Food Truck Friday, cookouts on the lawn, and international cuisine during our International Education Week.
Meal Plans
All undergraduate residential students are required to have a meal plan, which can be used at any food service location on campus. You may use only one meal per meal period (breakfast, lunch or dinner).
Meal plans begin each week on Sunday at brunch.
Meal plan changes can only take place during the first 10 days of classes of each semester.

Please Note:
Eagle Card credit may be used in the Coffee Tavern (CT), Food Court, and the Dining Hall. Eagle Card credit carries over between academic terms.
Meal Plan Flex Cash can be used in the Coffee Tavern (CT), Food Court, and the Dining Hall. Meal Plan Flex Cash does not carry over between academic terms.
