The University of Charleston is required by law to collect, store and share personal data from students. Such information may include, but is not limited to, a student’s name, address, social security number and academic records. Personal information is routinely used to process requests relating to admissions, financial aid, and academic records, including federal and state reporting requirements.
By agreeing to this policy you acknowledge that you understand that the University of Charleston may collect, store and share your personal information and that you consent to the use of your personal data for the lawful purposes outlined above.
By agreeing to this policy you also acknowledge that you have the right to prohibit the University of Charleston from collecting, storing or sharing your personal information. This may be done by submitting a request, in writing, to the Student Solutions Office. Please note that if consent is withheld you may not be eligible to enroll at the University of Charleston.
