SGA Members
The SGA is composed of five Executive Board members, six Upperclassman Senators, three Sophomore Senators, three Freshman Senators, and Super-Council Senators representing their respective graduate programs.
Members of SGA serve one-year terms, and their election and re-election are dependent upon votes from the student body. SGA proudly works with the UC administration, faculty, and staff members to ensure each student has an enjoyable and rewarding experience at the University of Charleston. The Student Government Association strives to be the student body’s voice and welcomes any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
President | Kelton Boblits
President Kelton Boblits is a dual major in business management and political science from Fayette County, West Virginia and has served on SGA since his freshman year. He is a Presidential Scholar, an Innovation Scholar, and is highly involved in numerous other organizations on campus. President Boblits is proud to serve on SGA to better represent the student body and improve campus life for the UC community.
VP of Project Development | Tanner Richmond
Vice President of Project Development Tanner Richmond is a biology major from Nicholas County, West Virginia, and has served on SGA for three consecutive years. He is a member of many organizations on campus where he strives to be an active member of the UC community. Vice President Richmond is very proud of the work he has done during his time on council and plans to continue uniting and improving campus with his remaining time at UC.
VP of Communications | Kiley Graham
Vice President of Communications Kiley Graham is a history and political science major and english minor from Columbus, Ohio. She has been serving on SGA since her freshman year. Kiley is a member of the Women’s Basketball team, Honor’s College, Gamma Beti Phi society, and is also a Circular Assistant. She is proud to advocate and represent on behalf of the student body, and to encourage productive work and enlightened living on campus.
VP of Student Organizations | Maci Britton
Vice President of Student Organizations Maci Britton is an exercise science and psychology major from West Union, West Virginia. In addition to SGA, she is an active member of Gamma Beta Phi, First2Network, Chi Beta Phi, and is a volunteer for her local 4-H club. Maci also currently serves as the President of her sorority, Theta Kappa Pi. She will be continuing her education after graduating from UC this spring at WVU as a member of their Occupational Therapy Doctorate program/class of 2027.
VP of Finance | Jacob Craig
Vice President of Finance Jacob Craig is majoring in Sport Business and Management. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Jacob has served on SGA since his freshman year. He also is a member of the Men’s Volleyball team here at UC and plans to start coaching after he graduates in the spring. Vice President Craig is proud to serve SGA for the last four years as he seeks to find bigger and better ways to improve life for students and staff on campus.
