UC Offers Nursing Boot Camp

High school students interested in a nursing career are invited to learn more about nursing and nursing school during the University of Charleston’s Nursing Boot Camp on Saturday, April 20.  The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the UC campus.

Students will participate in hands-on interactive workshops in the university’s simulation labs, take part in real-world nursing scenarios, meet UC nursing faculty and current nursing students, learn more about options available in the nursing field, and more.

A second camp is planned for UC-Beckley on Saturday, May 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
