Fresh Start Breakfast Tackles Intellectual Property
Monika Jaensson, attorney and owner of Jaensson Law, will be the speaker as the University of Charleston offers the second of its “Fresh Start Breakfast” speaker series. It will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
Jaensson will discuss “Protecting and Leveraging Your Intellectual Property.” She has been a leading advocate in intellectual property matters for over 30 years, representing businesses and individuals before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S. Copyright Office, and federal/state courts. She specializes in patent trademark and copyright law, guiding innovators to strategically safeguard their proprietary advancements globally.
The event is free, but registration is required as seating is limited. Breakfast will be served.
“Fresh Start Breakfast” is part of a series of events sponsored by Huntington Bank to be held at the UC Downtown Innovation Hub as part of its Inspiring Innovation speaker programming. In addition to the breakfast events, there will be “Two Views Tuesdays,” quarterly chats with a moderator facilitating discussion with two subject matter experts who share different viewpoints. The topics will be issues that affect business success and quality of life in the area.
Fresh Start Breakfast and Two Views Tuesdays will offer events in alternating months through November 2024.
