Hallie Chillag, Multidisciplinary Studies Program Director, Associate Professor of Social Sciences, and Honors College Director was selected for the ISGAP Oxford Summer Institute (Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy). Hallie has been a guiding force in the annual UC Labor of Love and Enlightened Living Week events and is involved in many student initiatives.
The ISGAP Summer Institute is at Pembroke College, Oxford, United Kingdom, August 6 – 18, 2023. The program is dedicated to developing critical antisemitism studies as a recognized academic discipline.
Hallie’s opportunity was made possible by a partial scholarship for the program and funding through the WV Humanities Council.
After spending two weeks with a community of scholars from around the globe, she will be able to share her experience with our UC and greater Charleston communities.
