High school students can learn more about health science professions at two Health Sciences Summer Boot Camps – one each in Charleston and Beckley.

The camp on the Charleston campus is open to all upcoming 2023 high school juniors and seniors in Kanawha and surrounding counties. It is an overnight camp, taking place June 13 and 14. Students will stay in one of the UC residence halls and spend two days on the UC campus, participating in several activities.

The Beckley camp is open to all upcoming 2023 high school juniors and seniors in Raleigh, Fayette, and surrounding counties. It will be held at the UC-Beckley campus on June 23 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Participants at both camps will participate in hands-on activities to learn more about a variety of health sciences professions and receive information on applying to college. UC faculty will show what a day in the life of a health care provider might look like.

Space for both camps is limited. To register and learn more about either camp, visit
