UC Nursing Students Receive Pins

In a special ceremony that took place on Friday, December 9, 2022, UC nursing students – graduates of our Associate Degree of Nursing and RN to BSN programs – received their pins in a time-honored celebration of their success. The ceremony took place in Beckley, WV.

The pinning ceremony symbolizes the hard work and dedication of nursing students who have completed their studies. It marks the important transition from student to nurse (students still need to sit for the NCLEX before working as a nurse). This distinctive ceremony offers a proud history – and we are proud of our students who will go on to become outstanding nurses.

There were 29 student nurses who have graduated – 22 ADN and 7 RN-BSN. (Only 25 were able to attend the ceremony.)
