University of Charleston

The University of Charleston has been named as one of the “Best Southeastern” colleges in the US by The Princeton Review in its “2023 Best Colleges: Region by Region” issue.

UC is one of 143 schools listed in its southeastern region that the publication considers “academically outstanding and well worth consideration.” (Schools are not ranked but listed alphabetically.)

The publication lists schools in five regions – northeastern, midwestern, southeastern, western and international. A total of 655 schools were listed across all five categories.

UC was also named “Best Traditional” and “Best Business School” by College Consensus. College Consensus rankings combine the results of the most respected college ranking systems with the averaged ratings of thousands of real student reviews from around the web to create a unique college meta-ranking. The website states “Regardless of size, location, form, or classification, these are the colleges and universities that have the best publisher and student ratings. It’s not mixing apples and oranges – it’s crunching the numbers, pure and simple, to see which colleges the experts admire, and which ones the students love.”
