Eli Hughes Received a Presidential Medal from the Lions Club

Eli Hughes was recently recognized with the presidential medal for his leadership in establishing a UC Chapter of the Lions Club.

With over 47,000 clubs and 1.4 million members worldwide, individual Lions Clubs strive to serve the needs of their local communities in tangible ways. As their website states: “Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships, and improving the world through kindness.”

Hughes, from Alum Creek, WV, is a UC Innovation Scholar, majoring in digital marketing and business analytics.
