UC Second in Best Colleges in WV Ranking

Charleston, WV – January 4, 2022 – UC was ranked in second place as one of the 2022 “Best Colleges in West Virginia” by the website Niche.com.

The Best Colleges ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data. The data is compiled from the US Department of Education, Stacker, niche.com and student/alumni reviews. Also included in the selection process: location, size, diversity, areas of focus, and study abroad opportunities.

Number 1 on the list was West Virginia University (Morgantown), followed by UC, then WVU institute of Technology.

UC earned an overall “Niche Grade” of B. The grade is determined by a wide range of factors, including academics, value, professors, campus, safety and more.
