School of Business Partnering with WVDOT

School of Business & Leadership Providing Executive Leadership Training to WVDOT.

Charleston, WV – May 18, 2021 – The UC School of Business and Leadership is partnering with the West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) to provide executive leadership training to WVDOT senior leaders.

The six-month partnership is the culmination of a year of intensive interviews and negotiations between UC and the WVDOT.  Training will be provided by UC President Marty Roth and fourteen volunteers from the UC doctoral leadership faculty.  There are 45 senior WVDOT leaders who will take part.

The training topics include those identified through ten interviews with the WVDOT leadership.  As part of their training, the senior leaders will design possible future training programs for their mid and entry-level leaders.

It is hoped that this initiative will grow to include other WV State Departments as the program progresses.
