Adjunct Faculty – Biology

The University of Charleston School of Arts & Sciences seeks multiple adjunct faculty to teach introductory-level Human Anatomy and Physiology courses and labs on the main campus in Charleston in support of undergraduate students majoring in Biology, Nursing, and other health science majors.

We are seeking instructors with college-level instructional experience who would be available to provide students with engaging classroom experiences Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00-9:50 am or 1:00-1:50 pm, as well as challenging lab sessions on Tuesdays at 1:40-3:30 pm, Thursdays at 9:25-11:15 am and 1:40-3:30 pm. Classes begin on August 22, 2022 and continue through December 9th.

We invite applications from Biology instructors and industry professionals with a demonstrated interest in undergraduate education in the Biological Sciences. Preferred candidates will have an earned doctorate in Biological Sciences or related field but ABD candidates and candidates with a Master’s degree, with teaching expertise or professional experience will be considered.
