We have many ways to make your education more affordable
(Charleston Campus Only)
Accepted students have the opportunity to earn additional scholarship money – including the Presidential Scholarship providing full tuition – during our Scholarship Days events.
Scholarship Days are offered twice a year (although competition for the Presidential Scholarship is only available during our January Scholarship Day event). The day includes participation in team building activities, touring the UC campus, enjoying a complimentary lunch, and meeting faculty and current students. Those competing for the Presidential Scholarship will also have a personal interview. Participants are also entered to win a $10,000 scholarship.
Dates for Scholarship Days are posted on our website, and eligible students will receive notification of the dates as well.
Supporting Your College Dreams
The University of Charleston Office of Financial Aid works with each student individually to put together the very best financial aid package available. In order to be considered for scholarships and financial aid at the University of Charleston, students are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
UC offers many opportunities for incoming students to make an excellent college experience affordable. In fact, you automatically qualify for our Grade-Based Scholarships – and we have many other opportunities as well.
Beckley/Online students are eligible for low credit hour tuition.
