University of Charleston Celebrates the Halloween Season From Sweet to Scary
Friday, October 16 – Trunk or Treat, UC-Beckley
Monday, October 19 – Ghosts and Goodies, UC Charleston Riverfront Lawn
Tuesday, October 27 – Fall Festival and Halls of Horror – UC Charleston Campus
The University of Charleston invites the community to enjoy Halloween fun with three special events. Both the Charleston campus and UC-Beckley will offer spirited fun for their communities. All events are free and open to the public.
Trunk or Treat, UC-Beckley: UC Nursing students, faculty, and staff at UC-Beckley will host a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 16, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy a safe, festive Halloween celebration in the UC-Beckley parking lot (167 Dye Drive, Beckley), featuring decorated trunks, sweet treats, and plenty of fun.
Ghosts and Goodies: UC’s 3rd annual Ghost and Goodies Halloween event will be held on October 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the back lawn of the Charleston campus. The UC Innovation Scholars and the School of Health Sciences will co-host the event. The community is invited to enjoy an evening on the lawn and a safe trick-or-treat event. The event is free.
Fall Fest/Halls of Horror: For a slightly scarier event, the UC Office of Residence Life invites visitors to face their fears (or run screaming for the exits) at the annual Halls of Horror on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This year’s theme is the Phobia Factory. The event will be held in Middle Hall, with several floors of frightening fun. This is the fifth year that Residence Life has delighted in scaring the heck out of the UC Community.
Halls of Horror is part of the University’s Fall Fest event, an evening of seasonal activities, food, games, and fun.
