The Chronicle of Higher Education recently published its list of Fastest-Growing Colleges, 2009-2019. The University of Charleston is ranked 7th in the publications’ list of doctoral programs at private, non-profit institutions.

The listing shows that in 2009, UC had 1,396 students enrolled in a doctoral program, and in 2019 had 2,718 students, a growth of 94.7%.

In the article, the Chronicle states that data are based on a fall head count of full and part-time students of degree-granting institutions with at least 500 students.

UC currently offers a doctoral program in executive leadership through its School of Business & Leadership as well as a Doctor of Pharmacy through its School of Pharmacy.

The Chronicle of Higher Education covers colleges and universities as an independent news and information organization. For more information and to see the complete listing, you can find the article here: https://www.chronicle.com/article/fastest-growing-colleges-2009-19.
