Charleston, WV – April 19, 2021 – The University of Charleston will be celebrating its graduates in person April 24, but in order to adhere to health and safety protocols the university will hold three separate ceremonies:

School of Business/School of Pharmacy:  9:00 am – 10:00 am

School of Health Sciences (excluding ADN, BSN and Physician Assistant)/School of Arts and Sciences: noon – 1:00 pm

Associate Degree of Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing and Physician Assistant Program: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

All ceremonies will take place in the Wehrle Athletic Arena on UC’s campus There are nearly 400 graduates expected to take part, although UC will be graduating over 700 students total from its undergraduate and graduate programs in Charleston, Beckley and online.

Speaker for the ceremonies will be John Cominsky, the first Golden Eagle to be drafted by the NFL in 70 years. Cominsky now plays for the Atlanta Falcons.

For those who wish to watch virtually, the event will be livestreamed, and a special video tribute to UC students who couldn’t attend in person will follow the ceremony.
