Why give to UC?
Tuition only covers part of the cost of a University of Charleston education, and the university relies on private support to close that gap. Moreover, over eighty-five percent of our students receive financial aid, and many still struggle to pay tuition, room and board costs. We need your assistance to help these deserving students have access to an education that truly prepares them to be individuals who are committed to living a life of productive work, enlightened living and community involvement.

All annual unrestricted gifts go directly into the operating budget to support the heart of UC by providing our students with needed scholarships, outstanding faculty, top-notch facilities, athletic equipment, the latest technology, library resources, internships and other student services.
