Charleston, W.Va. – The University of Charleston School of Pharmacy chapter of the Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) won the Student Chapter of the Year award at the national CPFI meeting June 6-9, 2013 in Flat Rock, N.C.
There are 84 student chapters across the country and the award criteria includes meetings and bible studies, membership, national meeting attendance, outreach and in-reach activities, fundraisers, health fairs and health campaigns. UC CPFI Chapter President Allison Richmond, Vice President Adam Brumfield, Joseph Williams and Faculty Advisor Dr. Shelley Schliesser accepted the award for the UC School of Pharmacy chapter.
“This a tremendous honor and it is shared with the members who were instrumental in making this year so successful for CPFI,” said Brumfield stated.
