CHARLESTON, W.Va. - He has an impressive list of credentials and mesmerizing stories to match.
But whether working in law enforcement or ministry, Jack Rinchich considers himself a servant.
Today marks his retirement as chief of the Department of Safety and Security at the University of Charleston, a position he has held since 1986.
"This is bittersweet," said Rinchich, 62. "I love this place. It's been a unique ride. Dr. Welch is a brilliant leader and educator. He has done tremendous things at UC. I would like to think I contributed a little to that success."
