- Schoenbaum Library Searches for New Library Director
The Schoenbaum Library is currently searching for a new Library Director. The Search Committee, which is made up of faculty and administrative members, is currently interviewing perspective applicants for the position. The Committee hopes to have someone hired before the end of this semester. So look for more news to come about a new Library Director!
- Library’s Caldecott Collection on Display
Selections from the Schoenbaum Library’s Caldecott Collection are on display on the 3rd Floor of the library. The display was put together to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the awarding of the Caldecott Medal, which is given annually to the artist of the most distinguished picture book published in the United States. To learn more about the Caldecott Medal as well as its recipients, click here.
- New Reference Desk Hours!
The library has begun holding regular reference desk hours. Students can find one of the Reference librarians (either John or Anna) at the desk Monday through Thursday at 10-12 or 2-4. As always, both librarians are available anytime throughout the week. So stop by if you have any questions!
- Library Hires New Librarian
The Schoenbaum Library has hired Anna Hughes as the new Health Sciences Reference and Instruction Librarian. She will be working closely with students from the Health Sciences Divisions but is more than willing to help any student from any major who might need assistance. SPORTDiscus provides access to fulltext and bibliographic references in such areas as sport medicine, physical education, coaching and training, arts and history, corporate wellness, engineering and health and safety.
