    How do I reserve a space?

    Email David Ramsburg at davidramsburg@ucwv.eduwith name of group, size of group, date and time needed.

    Can I use a space without it being reserved?

    Yes, on the 1st floor for individual or small study groups.  The 2nd floor spaces must be reserved for hours between 8a.m. and 5p.m. at least 24 hours in advance.

    Can I use the 2nd floor space after 5p.m. without reservations?

    Yes, but remember there could be weekly meetings scheduled in the classroom.  The Maker Lab area is typically open and available for individual or small group meetings.

    Can I have food and drinks in the Innovation Center?

    Yes, but please make sure that you are cleaning up after yourself.  If food and drinks become an issue then this will become a food and drink free zone.

    Do I need to check in or sign in when I arrive at the Innovation Center?

    After 5p.m., please make sure you sign in at the front desk on 1st floor.

    What security measures are in place in the Innovation Center?

    • The entire space is monitored by security cameras.
    • After 5p.m. we ask that everyone enter and exit only through the 1st floor entrances.
    • Please do not open the doors for others trying to enter after 5p.m. on the 2nd floor.  It is important that everyone enter on the 1st floor and sign in.

    • 1st Floor is individual and Small Group seating

    Can I use the technology?

    Yes, if you have been trained and know how to use the technology, we welcome you to use it except for the 3-D printers.  The use of the 3-D printers must be reserved.

    How do I know if a room is in use or if activities are in session?

    Please pay attention to the white boards in the Innovation Center as you are walking around.  These white boards will let you know if a space is in use and if you need to be quiet.
