A nonrefundable $50 application fee is required before your application can be processed.  

All students are required to pay a nonrefundable $500 enrollment deposit.  The application and application fee must be received by June 1, 2008.  Admissions decisions will commence May 1, 2008.  The enrollment deposit is due upon acceptance and will be applied to tuition.

The following information should be submitted to complete the application process. 

  • Transcripts MUST be submitted as a part of the application process.
  • For Master of Business Administration and Leadership applicants, you MUST also submit ACT/SAT scores and/or GMAT scores.
  • International non-native English speakers must submit a TOEFL score as a part of the application process to be considered for admission. 
  • Please submit all information to the mailing address provided at the bottom of this page. 
Personal Statement of Career Goals and Other Relevant Information:
Please submit a one page description of your career goals and other information you deem relevant to the reasons you are seeking your degree at the University of Charleston. 

MBAL Applicants
Provide typed essay responses to the following questions. Address each question on a separate MS Word Document. Head each page with your full name and a statement of the question answered. Submit your responses in print format to the address provided below or submit these items electronically in MS Word/Adobe PDF format to charlesryan@ucwv.edu. 

Upon acceptance, MBAL students should submit a $500 Enrollment Deposit to secure enrollment as space is limited.  The $500 enrollment deposit is non-refundable.

An on-campus interview will be scheduled with all qualified applicants once the application is completed. This includes the submission of transcripts.

BA/BS Undergraduate degrees or students in the junior year of undergraduate study must provide evidence of undergraduate course work in a business field. 

Executive Program Applicants (EMFA/EMBA)
Additional Information Required:
  1. Undergraduate degree with 3.0 GPA
  2. 3-5 years work experience since graduation (may be waived by program director)
  3. One employer letter of recommendation (requirement for EMBA only)
