Executive Master of Forensic Accounting Program
Admissions Information

Applicants to the Jones Division of Business EMFA program are expected to be either working or work experienced and must meet the following criteria: have earned a baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher from a regionally accredited institution including prerequisite course work: six semester hours in accounting, six semester hours in economics and three semester hours in finance.

The admissions committee considers applications in total. The following are suggested criteria that also will be considered:
• A minimum of five years of business experience;
• Be recommended by employer;
• Three letters of recommendation; and,
• Personal interview preferred.

The Jones Division of Business should receive completed applications no later than 60 days before the first class. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the program is limited to approximately twenty students per class. The application package includes:
• Completed and signed application form;
• Three letters of recommendation;
• Resume;
• Official transcript from every college or university attended; and, 
• Application fee ($50).
