Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a national business organization present in over 1,600 colleges and universities in the United States.  Founded at the University of Charleston in January 2005, UC students have conducted projects impacting the University of Charleston community in market economics, business ethics, financial literacy, success skills and entrepreneurship.

 

Our mission is "To provide SIFE members at the University of Charleston the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills by providing instruction and community outreach using the principles of free enterprise."

 


 

Students in Free Enterprise Youth Philanthropy Initiative (SIFE-YPI)

The Sife-YPI was created in 2006 in partnership with Triana Energy, University of Charleston SIFE and The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation to enable young people to participate in philanthropy.
