Delta Phi Delta

Bringing a little sunshine to your rush...

Delta Phi Delta was founded in 1995 by fourteen women that ''didn't” quite fit into the typical sororities of the time. Today, 12 years later, Delta Phi Delta is one of the strongest organizations on the UC campus.

We perform community service in as well as on campus, such as our recycling program. In this same way, we also help our Charleston community by beautifying parks, working with children, and helping organizations, such as the MS Society.

We sponsor events and fund raisers in the University of Charleston. Halloween parties with Kappa Tau Epsilon, Irish

celebrations, and assist with the Mr. UC Pageant are a few events that have become part of the tradition of this university. Furthermore, a great number of our members are student athletes and student-leaders, what makes us even more visible on campus.

The sisters of Delta Phi Delta pride themselves on diversity that makes up our great organization. We have sisters from different parts of the world, such as Japan, Argentina, and Bosnia. We also have strong alumni base, which allows us to have older sisters to rely on, if we ever need extra support. In this same way, our alumni involvement with the sorority also reminds us that, sisterhood is for a lifetime: it doesn’t end at graduation!

Mostly, we pride ourselves' on the bond that we have as sisters. Delta Phi Delta has made each sister a stronger person, taught us things we would have never learned otherwise, and gave us a group of girls we can count on, for absolutely anything you can imagine.
