Welcome to the Golden Eagle family!  All of us at UC are excited that you will be joining our community this fall and are looking forward to meeting you at New Student Orientation.

Before you arrive

Please look at the attached checklist and see if anything still needs to be done.  To avoid standing in line at Orientation, please get in touch with the appropriate office and take care of as much as you can before arrival.

  2. Financial Aid:
    1. Last minute paperwork or signatures needed
  3. Information Technology:
    1. Verify UC log-in information (must be done prior to the IT session on Saturday!)
  4. Parking Permits:
    1. Parking permits will be distributed to students who will have a vehicle on campus

    2. Residential students pick up a Residence Hall ticket and proceed to residence hall.

**Residential Students

All new residential students must complete the Fall Check-In process and obtain a ticket before they can move into their assigned residence hall room.  A limited number of shopping carts and helpful upperclassmen will be available to assist with the move-in process.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be NO formal Parent Orientation meetings.  Instead, members of our staff will be in the Riggleman rotunda (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) and the Geary Student Union lobby (2:00 – 4:00 p.m.) to provide you with all the answers and resources you need.

Please stop by the Parent Resource Table on Friday, Aug. 22:

  • Sign up to receive the parent newsletter
  • Learn more about the services offered by Advance Healthcare @UC (health clinic, counseling, and pharmacy services)
  • Get answers to individual questions about opportunities and resources for you and your student
