UC by Car
- Get directons to UC on Mapquest
- From the North: Travel I-77 South or 1-79 South into Charleston. Follow the signs to I-64 West. Take Oakwood Road Exit 58A and follow the signs to Route 61 South (MacCorkle Ave.). Travel approximately 1.5 miles. The campus is on the left.
- From the South: Travel I-77 North (West Virginia Turnpike). Go through downtown Charleston (ignore the UC sign at MacCorkle Ave.), to 1-64 West. Take Oakwood Road Exit 58A and follow the signs toward Route 61 South-Marmet. Once on Route 61 South (MacCorkle Ave.), travel approximately 1.5 miles. The campus is on the left.
- From the East: Travel I-64 West or I-79 South. From I-64, go through downtown Charleston (ignore the UC sign at MacCorkle Ave.), continuing West. Once on Route 61 South (MacCorkle Ave.), travel approximately 1.5 miles. The campus is on the left.
- From the West: Travel I-64 East to Charleston. Take the Oakwood Road Exit 58A and follow the signs to Route 61 South-Marmet. Once on Route 61 South (MacCorkle Ave.), travel approximately 1.5 miles. The campus is on the left.
UC by Plane
Approximately 10 minutes from the campus, Yeager Airport serves the Charleston area. Find out which airlines service Charleston, West Virginia. Yeager Airport also provides information about rental cars, hotel shuttles, and taxi service.
UC by Train
Amtrak serves Charleston with a passenger station on 350 MacCorkle Avenue only 5 minutes from campus. For inner-city rail passenger service, general information, and reservations, go to www.amtrak.com or call 1-800-872-7245.
UC by Bus
Greyhound Bus Lines serve Charleston. The terminal is located on 300 Reynolds Street approximately 10 minutes from campus. For fare and schedule information, go to www.greyhound.com, or call 1-800-231-2222 (locally 304-357-0056).
UC Stadium
Take the Greenbrier Street exit (exit 99) off I-64/77 toward the State Capitol (south). Turn right at the first light (Washington Street), then right on Elizabeth Street. UC stadium is on your left.
