RAs & RDs

Each residence hall is staffed with professional staff and students to facilitate the development and maintenance of a quality living environment.

Resident Assistant (RA)

A Resident Assistant (RA) is assigned to each section on the residence hall. RAs are talented and motivated student leaders who are selected to assist students with various problems and concerns. RAs serve a vital role in the development of community.

Resident Director (RD)

The RD is a live-in professional staff person who is responsible for the total operation of the residence hall. Each RD promotes educational and social programming, serves as a personal and University resource to the students, supervises the student staff members and desk assistants. Each RD also has a collateral position that he/she is responsible for which could include; dorm wars, intramurals, residence hall association advisor, coordinator of student life shuttle service, residence life newsletter, and the student life workshop series.

Residence Life Coordinator (RLC)

The RLC is a live-in professional staff person who is responsible for the total operation of the residence hall and serves as the assistant judicial officer in the Office Of Student Life. The RLC promotes educational and social programming, serves as a personal and University resource to the students, supervises the student staff members and desk assistants. The RLC also works closely with the Coordinator of the First Year Programs, the Dean of Students and the Director of Residence Life to plan and promote our first year experience program.

Director of Residence Life and Housing

The Director is the University administrator responsible for the leadership and overall operation of housing and judicial affairs.
