The University of Charleston is a very special place to me. I learned more in my four years there (both inside and outside of the classrooms) than in any other time of my life. The education I received there prepared me to go on for higher degrees, leading to the career I have today. Most of all, I made true friends and treasured memories on that campus that have stayed with me for decades.
I try to make a donation each year because my alma mater means so much to me. I want to do what I can to keep it alive and thriving. It actually benefits my résumé to see UC prosper. The fact that UC was written about in the New York Times, or the high rankings it receives from U.S. News and other college rating guides, all contribute to its growing reputation. This reflects positively on all alumni.
