The shuttle is a free service to residential students who are on campus but need to go to the bank, grocery shopping, etc. The shuttle is limited as to where it will take students and why during operating hours. The shuttle should be used during the scheduled operating hours to be taken to places such as the bank, grocery store, Wal-Mart, Target, mall, airport, train station, bus station, etc. The shuttle will travel within city limits during regular operating hours as far as Wal-Mart on 119, downtown, and Kroger in Kanawha City.
Outside of normal operating hours, the shuttle can be requested for special runs by completing a request online at least 48 hours in advance if a student needs to be taken to a doctor's appointment or at the beginning and end of each semester the shuttle does drop offs and pick-ups at the airport. The shuttle does not make special runs for individual community service, internships, jobs, or volunteer hours. Special requests are only approved for the above stated reasons and if a shuttle driver is available to complete the request. Students who make special requests will be emailed at least 24 hours prior to the date requested with an approval or denial of their request.
