Dr. Tom Bowden, DO, is the Medical Director for the Athletic Training Education Program and a team physician for the Department of Athletic Training at the University of Charleston.
Dr. Bowden grew up in Beckley, West Virginia, and graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, in 1997. He completed his residency through West Virginia University at Charleston Area Medical Center. He is Board Certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bowden opened Charleston Internal Medicine, Inc. (CIM) in July, 2001 and has been a leader in Internal Medicine care in the Kanawha Valley since that time.
