Clubs & Honor Societies

Sports Medicine Club

The Sports Medicine Club is a student-run organization at the University of Charleston with faculty members serving as advisors. All professional students in the Athletic Training (AT) Program and all pre-professional students with the goal of applying to the AT program are eligible to become members. This organization offers students opportunities to organize and participate in community service, as well as educational, social and fundraising events. The fundraising activities support student attendance at state, district, and/or national athletic training conferences. Involvement also enhances a resume and vita, which is reviewed for admission to graduate programs and employers in consideration for job offers. As this is a student-run organization, it is very important for students to take an active role in the continuing development and support of the Sports Medicine Club.
