If you are working on a large document and are concerned about the formatting being consistent throughout, here is a useful tip. A great yet underused feature of Word is the ability to display two different parts of a document at the same time. There are two ways to do this:
- Select the View tab and go to the Window section. Click the Split option to display a dividing line in the current window.
- Alternatively, you can drag down the tiny divider tool at the top of the right scroll bar.
Now you can navigate to different parts of the document in each pane and use F6 to jump between them.
