Occasionally, you want to insert a photo or graphic into your document without any of the background. With Office 2010 this is super easy using the Remove Background Tool.
- Insert your graphic image or clipart.
- Notice that when you insert a graphic, a new tab, Picture Tools, appears at the very top, along with picture editing features on the ribbon. On the left side, you will see the Adjust group, with Remove Background. Click on Remove Background.
- Your picture is then in purple Remove Background mode, where you can move the borders to adjust what stays and what goes. Everything that goes is purple. When you get the picture the way you want, just click Keep changes.
