Catering Assistant

Primary Functions:
Responsible for staging, delivering, setting up, cleaning-up, and retrieving the day’s catered functions, staging and setting up future functions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the catering areas and vehicles.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Stage, deliver, and set-up caterings as scheduled
- Retrieve equipment, supplies and food items from the day’s caterings
- Maintain cleanliness, security and ensure routine maintenance of catering vehicles
- Breakdown all products retrieved from catered events
- Maintain cleanliness of catering areas
- Stage future caterings
- Restocks all catering supplies and makes note of any items that need to be ordered
- Other duties as required and assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to read, write and perform basic math
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be customer-oriented, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work with a deadline and on multiple activities at a time
- Able to work flexible schedule
- Able to routinely lift 30 pounds
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- High standard of personal hygiene
