Personal Statement: 

 

 

     St. Thomas More Academy’s leading scorer, Sharon Lapinsky, has announced
     her plans to attend the University of Charleston in the fall of 2006.  Entering her
     senior season, Lapinsky has tallied 88 goals and 36 assists in her high school
     career and is on pace to break the 100 career goals and 50 career assists
     marks.
 Lapinsky has been a 1st team All-State selection and Team MVP from
     her freshman year through the present.
  Lapinsky has also received
     All-Conference recognition from the Diamond Conference since her freshman
     year.
  As a player for the Kirkwood Twisters club team, the Twisters were state 
     champions in 2002 and 2003.
  Presently, Lapinsky is a player for the Kirkwood
    
Rapids.  Additionally, Lapinsky has been a 1st team All-Conference selection in
                                            basketball 2003, 2004 and 2005.
  In 2005, she was named the teams MVP and
                                            was selected to participate in the All-Star Blue/Gold senior game.
  As a member
                                            of the cross country team, she was again a 1
st team All-Conference selection in
                                           
2002 and participated throughout her high school career.
