 If your team(s) is not traveling with an Athletic Trainer, please be certain to supply your teams with a fully stocked medical kit for all contests.  The following services will be made available to all teams upon arrival on campus:

  • The athletic trainer clinic is located on the second floor of the Gorman Physical Education building.
  • Therapeutic modalities are available for use by a Certified Athletic Trainer. If an ATC is not traveling with your team(s), please provide a written form from an ATC, PT, or MD indicating the desired treatment for each athlete and we will gladly accommodate.
  • If a Student Athletic Trainer is traveling with a team please provide all written instructions for treatments, tapings, etc. from the ATC, PT, or MD and we will gladly accommodate the students.
  • We will be happy to ready you team for their event, but please make sure to send taping supplies with your team.
  • Water coolers, ice chests, ice bags, and cups will be made available on each visiting team bench.

 

***ATTENTION VISITING FOOTBALL TEAMS***

All home football contests are played off campus at the University of Charleston Stadium.  There will be therapeutic modalities available to be used on site, please call ahead to schedule use.  On the visiting sideline we will provide (2) 10 gallon water coolers, one large ice chest, and several sleeves of cups.  In the visiting team locker there will be available (1) 10 gallon water cooler, an ice chest, several sleeves of cups, and a (4) pack hydrocollator.  If you need any further items, or other accommodations, please contact me prior to your arrival.
